Who is My Health Consult?

We’re glad you asked. My Health Consult is a healthcare search tool that offers you greater, more immediate access to the clinicians in your area.

Using the Public Healthcare Directory, you can specify your search options to find a Family Physician, Chiropractor, Neurologist, and so much more. My Health Consult has even included unique specialists such as Audiologists, Speech Pathologists, and Children’s Dentistry.

How we got started

As a licensed family physician, I was faced with the challenge of searching for specialists to refer my patients to. In my experience, using google was like looking for a needle in a haystack.

From dealing with issues in locating a specialist in my area to determining their availability in the upcoming days, weeks or months ahead. When one referral fell through, I had to return back to square one of the process. With multiple referrals in a week, this cycle became incredibly frustrating and time-consuming.

This is when I thought to myself, “Do patients have the same problems accessing a healthcare provider that is right for them?”

This is when I realized many others would benefit from using an online tool that improves patient access to healthcare in their area. Here, My Health Consult was born.
